Our Daily Bread is a documentary that simply shows the process of food production - that's all.  No narration, no emotion, just an unblinking vision into the process of making food.  The video below is the first 40 minutes (all I could find online) and it's a stomach-wrenching vision into how we create what the planet calls food.

Please beware this video shows the everyday practice of animal slaughter and everything you likely do not want to know about.

T. Colin Campbell talking about The China Study

If you have 15 minutes watch this video about T. Colin Campbell's findings from his extensive studies and large epidemiological research which resulted in The China Study.  The video itself is a little fluffy since it's from Supreme Master TV (yeah, they're insane) but the message is quality and what Dr. Campbell has to say is, as always, compelling. 

A Cow At My Table - A Documentary

I recently found this 80 minute documentary from 1998 called 'A Cow At My Table.'  The film covers factory farming, animal rights, the history of factory farming and the various ways we view animals and their place in human society.  The creator, Jennifer Abbott includes old footage ranging from educational movies about farming to silent film comedies about food.

The documentary has difficult images of factory farming practices and the animal slaughter process.

Sentenced to Earth - 3 part documentary

Below is a three-part documentary called 'Sentenced to Earth' from the early 1990's.  I don't agree with everything Dr. Marvin Goodkind states but the overarching concept is good.  He also proposes a few philosophical points which might get you thinking.

The video itself is pretty dorky at parts but does have some difficult imagery so please watch at your own risk.
