I'm putting this in the cooking section but it's really a news article. The Baxter Bulletin has posted an article by Liz Kohman about being vegan....and it's truly positive. Liz writes:
Trendiness aside, it does seem like veganism is more accepted by society. Because veganism is more of a lifestyle choice (vegans don't use animal products like leather or wool in addition to eschewing milk, eggs, cheese and other animal products) than a mere dietary choice, it's nice to see that places like shoes stores and yarn shops advertise vegan products as much as grocery stores.
